Your responsibilities

 

This is a list of your general responsibilities whilst renting one of our properties; there are some exceptions. 

 

 

Your Responsibilities

 

  Payments      To pay the agreed rent in full and on time    

If you have any problems whatsoever with payment contact us immediately on the telephone number at the top of the page.

Sometimes payments do go missing and we are more than happy to deal with this but you will be required to produce proof of payment.

ALL payments to include payment reference:

        your surname,

        property number and

        road name.

For those that get behind we can agree a payment plan which will need to be discussed call us

 
         

To pay utility bills – electricity, water, gas, oil etc.

       
     

 

 To pay Council Tax

       
  Looking after the property      To ensure that no damage is caused to the property or its contents, whether by yourself, visitors or members of the household.

 We expect properties to be kept in the condition they are rented in with you responsible for such areas as cleaning the windows, cutting the grass and general garden upkeep.

   

Advise us in a timely fashion if there are any property problems that you believe are our responsibility. 

 Call our 24 hour help line (see telephone no at top of this page) which will divert to an answer machine if no one is available and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

 
 
  Property problems     Property problems such as blocked drains, damaged radiators, lost keys and broken windows are generally your responsibility.     

We are happy to explain this in more detail and to clarify and matters call us on the telephone number at the top of the page

 

 
  Being neighbourly  

 

To not cause any disturbance, nuisance or annoyance to neighbours.

 

       
  Tenancy ending/leaving the property      If your tenancy ends or you wish to leave the property you need to give us one (1) month’s notice in writing.     Contact us on the telephone number at the top of the page; voice messages need to be accompanied with a text message and ideally an email.

 

We will come and review the property before you leave and come to an agreement with regard to the deposit repayment if applicable.
